Crimson Purgatory
Verse 1
It was darker than onyx.
Strength rivals the legends of obsidian.
Born under the silverine kindle of the moon,
A will that transcends the soul.
Who are you when I'm not looking?
Throughout the seasons, it lay dormant.
Frozen in time, forevermore.
The scorching blaze of the sun
Melting the caramel of its hair
If I have indeed lost my way,
Does it mean I'm lost forever?
Just to be rediscovered by despair.
Ah, let me say this one time.
Isn't pain really a pleasure?
Sipping on synthetic euphoria
With vampiric fangs so deep,
Are you sure you are not dead?
Verse 2
Then came the dark halo up in the sky.
A calm breeze kisses the warmth of the dew.
Thousands of tiny needles fall from the sky.
Carrying the wrath of the heavens.
The soul trembled with subsistence.
I sing the tale of a man fragmented into two.
Asking the same question over and over
"Who am I when I'm not looking?"
Drizzle became a frenzy.
Swallowing everything in its path,
A strong vortex in my path
I saw Scylla awaiting my arrival.
"What is the purpose of life?
What is the purpose of existence?
What is the purpose of pain?
What is the purpose of pleasure? "
She exhaled the venom into my blood stream.
Almost dizzy, overloaded with dopamine
She came closer, with a feminine beauty.
The taste of honey melted into her breath.
As if pain became pleasure!
Verse 3
The distant howling of omnious beings
I woke up the dormant
incubating for the apotheosis.
Grains of sand in the hourglass
This time, even the dead are awake.
The dark shadow rose from the glimmer.
The God of Dead spoke in hushed tones.
"Did you lead a life worthy of a man?"
"I'm not sure Anubis."
There I saw the black raven fly into the flames.
Where the jackal god was buried,
As a pheonix emerged from the raven, a firey wing spread.
Who am I when I'm not looking?
I was chanting to the rhythm of silence.
Never forget.
Never falter.
Even pain becomes pleasure,
Even hope becomes despair,
Even when you are not looking,
You are always you.
That night, Anubis taught me a
certain truth of existence.
As I woke up in the morning, I forgot!
What was I looking for?
Fed up and about to give up,
A voice spoke aloud in my mind.
Never stop looking.
If you do, I will drown you into the depths
of crimson purgatory.
Fin.
"Never stop looking for yourself"
